Tubal Reversal And The Journey To Happiness
I just would like to let everyone know never to give up hope…and that for some of us conceiving will most definitely be a little more difficult than for others.
My journey has been a long one with many ups and downs… after my surgery getting pregnant was not easy. I had my tubal reversal in March of 2010 and I was able to get pregnant the normal way in the year of 2014. That pregnancy ended at 13 weeks and was diagnosed as a blighted ovum.
One year later I was pregnant again without knowledge and that pregnancy ended…there is so much I would like to add to my story; however for those of you who have lost hope due to unfortunate miscarriages… please I’m advising you to do what I did to make this miracle baby that you need in your life happen…tubal reversal worked for me.
I sought further help and decided to go to a infertility doctor and she had a consultation with me and my reversal surgery…she ordered all the blood work needed, all special testing for ovaries, tubes, egg count, and so forth… after my results came back she told me she was going to help me so she made a case plan for me. She prescribed me clomid for my first cycle and from days 4-7 but me and the clomid did not get along lol….so for my second cycle she prescribed me letrozole 2.5 milligrams twice a day…days 4-7…then she had me come in to see if I had healthy eggs via ultrasound.
I did have a few healthy eggs with one measuring 28, she prescribed me a shot 2 days later an that shot matured my egg and 2days later had another ultrasound to check egg size again…the next day she had myself an my partner come in and they washed his sperm.
We had a successful IUI treatment which worked for me. My baby was born@35 weeks because my bag had ruptured I really don’t know how long it was leaking for…but my baby was 5 pounds 1.3 ounces…he had an infection due to bacteria and was in NICU for 14 days before I could take him home… but he is my perfect little miracle from Dr Monteith… still seems like a dream but it’s real…thank you!
