PTLS, Endometriosis, And Years Of Pain
My husband went out on a limb so to speak. I had been diagnosed with endometriosis and treated for 7 years for the pain. After feeling dragged through the ringer and every doctor I saw telling me to just get a total hysterectomy to find relief, I did my own research.
I found something called PTLS it’s something doctors dont recognize as being a real issue. Not having anywhere else to turn and wanting to save myself from an unwanted surgery we went ahead and scheduled a reversal. Hoping to simply help my daily pain and issues I had been suffering from. A baby would only make it better if it worked.
I found after my reversal my pain was from my tube healing to my abdominal wall and I did not have any signs of endometriosis.
I felt such relief after the surgery, the pain from surgery was nothing compared to what I lived with daily for almost 10 years. We have now welcomed our first reversal baby almost 5 years after surgery.
We had nothing left to loose when we set out to have surgery with Dr Monteith but so much to gain. Thank you for everything you and your team are really a blessing. Your surgery not only helped us add to our family but saved me from countless years of pain.
I was able to get pregnant withing 3 months of surgery but due to hormone issues due to unnecessary hormone treatment for endometriosis. I had to find the right doctor to help me hold on to a pregnancy.
