One Woman’s Journey To New Happiness!
A little bit of my back story…
If you had met me four years ago, you would have likely known that I had zero intentions of ever having a child of my own. In 2017, I had a pregnancy scare in a toxic relationship and with the idea that I would never be in a healthy or supportive enough relationship to want to raise a child, I hastily agreed to the “new and minimally invasive” procedure to receive the Essure device.
I started to regret my decision almost immediately. Not due to any desire to bare children, but due to some rather consistent sharp shooting pains in my pelvic area and down my legs, that often stopped me from being able to work. Bayer recalled the Essure device only a year after my procedure. This device, the process for acquiring them and it’s approval by the FDA is, to me, all a joke and a disgrace to western medicine. I know that the problems I experienced were only the tip of the iceberg in comparison to what other women around the world have had to deal with due to Essure.
Luckily, there are places like A Personal Choice and doctors like Charles Monteith, who provide the opportunity for people to change their minds about what they want and to live a healthier life. Three years ago, I met the love of my life and his 6 year old son. Within 24 hours of meeting them, I had his boy on my hip thinking, “I could do this, I could see myself being a family with them.” Never in my life had I thought this kind of love and support could actually exist.
A Personal Choice is for those who changed their minds, for those who thought they would never find true love, for those in pain and for those tired of thinking this is the only way to live. It isn’t, you have a choice. I made mine and it was the best decision of my life.
I never thought I could be so happy, as I am when I hold my precious little girl.
Jazzlyn Jean Wonder Youngblood entered this plane of existence at 12:46pm on July 30th, 2022. She is a giggle machine and loves her Mama, her Papa and her big brother Jethro.
She is a beautiful addition to our family and traveling caravan of do-gooders. We feel confident that she was waiting up there in the cosmos for the two of us to be ready for her arrival.
I never could have asked for a more perfect fit.
Thank you from the top of her blonde little head, to the tips of her little tosies.
We recently celebrated her six months; she is starting to crawl and he bottom teeth are coming in. Every day is a miracle, thanks to my personal choice that y’all had my back on. Make this choice for you and you alone, they will have your back, too.
Respectfully and soaked in love,
Banjo, Kaitlyn “Kamo”, Jethro and Jazzlyn
