Ashley came to A Personal Choice for a reversal of her cut and tied tubes. When tubes are cut and tied this is commonly termed a ligation and resection type of tubal ligation. There are many variations to a ligation and resection tubal ligation. The two most common variations are the Pomeroy and Parkland procedures.
The chance of becoming pregnant after a tubal reversal of cut and tied tubes is 63% at our reversal center. In comparison, the chance of becoming pregnant after a single cycle of in-vitro fertilization (IVF) is approximately 35%.
