My husband and I were very skeptical about the success of the tubal reversal. After having an HSG performed about 7 months after tubal reversal, I was told my tubes were still blocked. My husband and I felt that it just wasn’t “meant to be.” I had one normal cycle after the HSG and missed my next cycle. A vaginal ultrasound revealed a normal uterine pregnancy! The pregnancy went beautifully until about 35 weeks. I was admitted to the hospital at 36 weeks with a significant blood clot in my left leg. I stayed in the hospital on IV heparin until 38 weeks. Little Daniel was born by Cesarean section (breech presentation) at 38 weeks.
He is a beautiful, healthy baby boy! Needless to say, mom’s recovery is a little different than expected, but both mom and baby are doing fine.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to have a Christmas miracle in 2011!!
