Third Reversal Baby At Age 44!

Dr. Monteith
The three smallest are my tubal reversal babies and the next baby girl is due May 27th.
We wanted one more, but ended up with a bonus package! Don’t ever give up! I will be 45 when this little lady is born!
We brought the three boys up to see Dr. Berger right before he retired. So happy he has passed that great knowledge on. What a wonderful group of people! I did have three miscarriages during this adventure, but that was because of age and chemical imbalances not because of my reversal.
I recommend this awesome place to anyone wanting to get their tubal reversed! My cousin went and she now has her miracle baby!

What is the best age for tubal reversal surgery?
We are often asked if we have an age limit for tubal reversal surgery and many will wonder what is the best age for tubal reversal surgery?
Age limit for reversal?
We don’t have an age limit for reversal surgery. We only require that you be having regular periods. If you are having regular periods then you are ovulating (releasing eggs) and there is always a chance for natural conception. Although the ability to become naturally pregnant does decrease with increasing age, pregnancy can happen at any age if a woman is having periods and ovulating.
Best age for tubal reversal?
There really is no ‘best age for tubal reversal‘. As age increases the ability to become naturally pregnant does decrease. The chance of pregnancy is never zero unless a woman is post menopausal (not having periods for at least six months or more).
The American Society for Reproductive Medicine has consistently stated in their tubal reversal committee report:
“Tubal anastomosis for reversal of tubal sterilization has a significantly higher cumulative pregnancy rate than IVF, and it is more cost efficient, even in women 40 years of age or older…”
The younger a patient is when having tubal reversal surgery means they have more monthly chances of pregnancy but pregnancy can happen at any age if a woman is having regular periods. The best age for having tubal reversal is generally for women younger than age 40 but even in women over the age of 40 pregnancy is possible after tubal reversal surgery.
