Dr. Berger,
I just wanted to give you an update on my 2nd pregnancy in as many years since my reversal (5/28/08). Things are going very well this time around, just as it did last time. I’m attaching a picture of the U/S I had performed at exactly 20 weeks.
I also wanted to let you know that I decided to begin college last fall, starting at the ripe age of 34, and majoring in nursing. I would love to specifically go into the field of fertility/infertility. Seeing as how I’ve had to have surgery to have kids to begin with (endometriosis, age 19), had a tubal ligation, then had that ligation reversed, it seems very appropriate.
Last semester, for my English class, I wrote a paper on tubal reversal, then this semester for anatomy, I gave a report on the same. My classmates were very interested and asked lots of questions afterward. They were shocked that I was able to conceive so quickly (21 days) post reversal. They were even more shocked when I told them I conceived again in the 1st month after I stopped nursing my first tr baby Allyssa. She celebrated her 1st birthday in March (picture enclosed) and I am due again in just 6 weeks. I am ever so thankful for all you’ve done for us! You’ve made our family grow like I never knew possible! It’s amazing!!!
