Remarks: My husband and I tried very hard to conceive immediately after the reversal. After a year we decided to do some investigation with a fertility specialist. We were devastated to find out my lab work indicated that I was post-menopausal. On a good note, the ultrasound to check for blocked tubes revealed both tubes are “wide open.” The MD remarked that Dr. Berger had done an amazing job. After pills, injections, and donor egg consideration, my husband and I accepted that we would not be parents and just enjoy each other. Much to our surprise my first BIG FAT POSITIVE pregnancy test today! Ladies, please don’t stress.. It complicates thing further both emotionally and physically. Concentrate on each other. Prayers needed as I start my journey for a healthy baby and pregnancy for this 41 year old. Thanks and good luck to all! I’ve waited so long to post my story!! I still can’t believe that I am!

Remarks: Third blood draw today. HCG 236.5 progesterone 24.07 and estrogen 268.7. Numbers look good and more than doubling every 48-72 hours. Still testing. Next draw is Monday. Will draw until I get to 2000 as per RE. Wish us luck.

Remarks: I had my TR in April 2014 and was told by Dr. Monteith that we could start trying the following month. My husband and I did just that! I missed my period at the end of May, but thought I was just stressing, because it would be to good to be true if I got pregnant after our first try. So on the third day after my missed period I took the test mid afternoon and the test was a faint positive. I took two different test the next morning and they were both clear positives. We were both shocked, excited and scared. I called my doctor the next day and he called the lab for me to get started getting my blood tested for HCG levels. Today was my last day going now I’m just waiting for the results…

Remarks: We had a semen analysis done, and had the procedure where they run dye through the tubes to make sure they are open. I only have 1 tube open after the surgery, we found out on April 14th that we are pregnant! Very exciting!

Remarks: We were not planning, but we weren’t preventing either. Our 7 yr old daughter (1st tr baby) has been asking for a baby sister for a couple years now. I had a total thyroidectomy in 2011, which left me in a permanent state of hypothyroidism which is controlled by synthroid. So I will be working with my endocrinologist and my ob throughout this pregnancy.

Remarks: I got my bloodwork and my blood pregnancy test was positive and my HCG levels were a little over 2,000, my obgyn scheduled for me to have another hgc test today and a pelvic ultrasound on June 2014. I am just praying all is well with the rest of the testing and the ultrasound, I will update on the results of the pelvic ultrasound.
