Remarks: Just wanted to let you know that I’ve finally become pregnant on my own although I’m thinking it is probably ectopic due to my low hcg level. I am going to get blood work again on 2/17 so we will see then. But at 10 days late for my period my hcg was only 630. I’ve done some research and see that a lower hcg level is normal for ectopic pregnancies.

Remarks: My periods have been really irregular for a year or so, and I have no idea when I ovulated or conceived. I took a HPT on January 13th (because I was having outpatient surgery and my period was late and I wanted to make sure before having anesthesia) and it was negative. So I have no idea how far along I am. I will say, however, that my FSH level has been checked and it is high, and 3 doctors have told me that I am basically infertile (based on the FSH alone) and that there was a 95% chance that I would never get pregnant again without going to extreme measures such as using a donor egg!

This pregnancy is a big surprise, after trying to conceive for 3 months my husband and I decided to wait for about 2 years since I will be going back to work since my 10 month old was born. But God had other plans for us and after wondering why my period was MIA I tested and I got a pregnant result at the doctors office it was negative but after a blood test was done it was determined that indeed I was pregnant and more likely very early for their office urine test to detect it. We are so excited and cannot wait for our baby to get here. This is our 6th baby – we have 4 girls (ages 20, 16, 13, 10) and our 10 month old baby boy.
