Starting this September we have several exciting events planned for our future patients: new name, two new websites, and new services!
To catch many of you up to speed Dr. Berger retired in 2013 and Dr. Monteith became the Medical Director of A Personal Choice.
Dr. Monteith relocated the surgery facility to a newer building in January of 2014. Since then we have been focusing on getting off to a great start in our new facility and the development of new services for male patients.
We are now offering no-scalpel vasectomy and vasectomy reversal. Our goal is to decrease the barriers men have to obtaining vasectomy because vasectomy for men is safer and easier than tubal ligation is for women. Our experience with our tubal ligation reversal patients has provided us much insight into what many women have to endure.
This is the start of a new beginning and we hope to help more patients with our efforts.

First, a new name: A Personal Choice!
To emphasize our new mission we are changing our name to A Personal Choice and we have created a new website to assist us with our new endeavors. We plan on offering our patients more choices over their fertility.
No-Scalpel Vasectomy
We will begin offering His Choice No Cut Vasectomy: No-scalpel, no-needle vasectomy!
We will be the first providers in the Carolinas of No-needle vasectomy and we are proud to be the only providers of vasectomy offering our patients both the choice of having a single visit vasectomy procedure and the option of returning their semen sample by mail.
Vasectomy Reversal
For years our patients have asked us to provide vasectomy reversal. Well now we do!
Now male patients will have the ability to have a high quality sterilization reversal surgery at our center in much the same way as our female patients do. We are proud to now offer single, mini-incision vasectomy reversal.
Personal Choices At A Personal Choice
We will continue to provide our patients with tubal reversal surgery, tubal repair surgery, Essure removal, and Essure reversal.
