Tubal Ligation Reversal Patient
Roxanne came to A Personal Choice for tubal reversal surgery. Her surgery was in April of 2011. Like many of our patients she was in a new relationship with a wonderful husband and she wanted to reverse the permanence of her previous decision.
During a dinner table discussion with her husband the discussed the simple logic of if her tubal ligation can be surgically done then it can be ‘surgical undone’. She then decided to have tubal reversal surgery.
Tubal Reversal: Fibroids, Age, Scar Tissue
Dr. Monteith performed the reversal surgery for Roxanne.
Her surgery was out-patient and went well. Despite having large uterine fibroids and scar tissue around her tubes Roxanne’s surgery was a success.
Her surgery was out-patient, lasted 69 minutes exactly, and the estimated blood loss for her entire reversal surgery was 40 ml (2.5 tablespoons).
She recovered at a hotel close to the reversal center and was able to return home the next day and return to work within 2 weeks.

Roxanne quickly became pregnant two times! She delivered her first tubal reversal baby, Mia, at the age of 39 and then became pregnant with twins at the age of 41 and is expected to deliver in 2013!
